Using this extra tool for temporaries you can produce temporaries for non- or minimal invasive preparation work in 3 steps.

Here’s how it works:

1. Scan the situ model.
2. Load the tooth shape you want from your tooth library, or use the original tooth shape. This is matched automatically with the situation model.
3. Mill the provisional crown from e.g. a Tizian PMMA blank.

With a crown of this kind, the dentist only now prepares the tooth to be treated. He only prepares so much that there is adequate room for the cement. In this way he protects the natural tooth substance and has a professionally made temporary on the day of the treatment.
