Multi Unit Abutment 30° Hex Connection
Description
Specially developed for occlusally screw-retained permanent and removable bars, bridges, and total restorations.
The IMPLA Multi Unit system has been specially developed for occlusally screw-retained permanent and removable bars, bridges, and total restorations.
IMPLA Multi Unit abutments are available in three different angles (0°, 20°, and 30°). The abutments are directly joined with the respective implant via screw connection. This creates a fixed transgingival platform that can be used for all further prosthetic and laboratory measures. The 0° abutments have a pre-fitted screw thread and are screwed into the implant with the long or short insertion key. The vertical Multi Unit screw is used to attach the 20° and 30° abutments to the implant. This screw is screwed in using the long or short 1.2 mm screwdriver. All laboratory components are secondarily secured to the abutment base with the prosthetics screw using the long or short 1.2 mm screwdriver. For the range of recommended implants, please see the IMPLA instructions for use.
The IMPLA Multi-Unit Abutment Concept facilitates improved usage of the available bone structure. By means of an angulated insertion of the terminal implants, the available bone is used in distal direction which improves the stability. With the according angulation, the Multi-Unit Abutments ensure a uniform insertion direction of the prosthetics to facilitate a tension-free screw fixation. For this purpose, the IMPLA Multi-Unit Abutment Concept contains straight and angulated components. The minimal number of implants for a complete reconstruction is four in the mandible and six in the maxilla. (please see the IMPLA instructions for use)
